Organized Play Information for Fantasy Flight Games

 Our objectives for OP league here at Mission Fun & Games are:

1)       Build a friendly community of gamers with similar interests

2)        Welcome new players and teach them how to play

3)        Provide prize support to encourage participation first, winning second

 Leagues kits (Organized play kits, officially) we have ordered:

·    Star Wars LCG

·  X-wing mini

·  Cthulhu LCG

·  Dust Tactics

·  Netrunner LCG

(We have not ordered Dust Warfare, Warhammer Invasion, or Game Of Thrones league kits yet.)

Participation of the first run of these leagues, which are about 6 weeks long each, will be free. Upon the start of subsequent runs, players will be required to purchase a membership in the store at $20 each per year. New players will be welcome to attend one session free of charge to check things out. 

The prizes for each league kit vary. They will consists of alternate art cards, player pins, deck boxes, etc. Some of these will be awarded based on the highest accumulated score over the six weeks, and some awarded randomly in the last session of the season.  One of the top promos will be awarded n a random draw for best attendance. 

The tournament organizer will lay out the planned distribution of these items on our website calendar at www.missionfunandgames.com 

League sessions will normally be require everyone pairs up and plays 3 games. 
Only games played with different players will count for league scoring. Score sheets will be provided. Record your wins and losses on these week to week. The normal point system is 3 points for a win, one for a draw. The formats may change with the input of the players. 

The tournament organizer for each league will need to collect the contact info for each player. Your cell phone number should be provided so that you may be contacted if a session gets cancelled due to weather, power outages at the host location, etc. 

Some events will run after the store is closed. Guidelines for after-hours conduct will be provided to the players.

With the exception of Netrunner, players may drop in for gaming beginning April, but there are no expectations for other players to be here until the league starts.

• Star Wars LCG: Begins Sunday, April 21, 12:30 – 4:30

• *Netrunner LCG: Begins Tuesday, April 23^rd, 7 – 10

Read the below if you would like to be a *Tournament Organizer (T.O.) 

The T.O. will get some promo material out of the league kit each session, as FFG designates this. 

Your responsibilities will be:

·          Collect and maintain contact info for all players.

·          Record attendance on a sign in sheet.

·          Make sure new players get help from current players.

·          Collect score sheets, and verify they are filled out correctly.

·          Make sure players are not sitting on tables, are not bringing in outside food or drink, are parking away from front entrance, are not littering.

·          Report any unsportsmanlike behavior to the storeowner.

·          Update league information as needed on the store’s website calendar.

·          From the second season onwards, ensure players have a store membership.

·          Assist with awarding of league prizes.

Mondays 6:00 pm - 11ish

Saturdays 6:30 pm - about 10:30 pm.

Wednesdays 7p.m. - 9 p.m.
